Hello, I'm Jo.
Finding the right therapist can feel like a big step, and I know it isn't always easy to reach out. My aim is to offer a warm, safe and non-judgemental space where you can simply be yourself. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, experiencing a life transition, struggling in relationships or trying to make sense of difficult experiences, therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, reflect and explore what is happening for you.

The relationship between therapist and client is central to my practice. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, accepted and understood—a space where you don't have to hide parts of yourself or feel judged.

I work in a trauma-informed way, recognising the impact that past experiences, relationships and environments can have on how we experience ourselves today. Many people have spent years adapting, masking parts of themselves or feeling they don't quite fit. Therapy can offer a different experience—one where you are met with curiosity, compassion and respect, and where your unique way of being is welcomed.

For over 20 years, I've worked in wellbeing, supporting people through a wide range of life experiences and challenges. Alongside my counselling practice, I have worked across community, health and voluntary sector services, developing and leading projects focused on mental health, trauma-informed practice, homelessness, wellbeing and social inclusion. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the complex realities people face and reinforced my belief in the importance of compassionate, relational support.

I work with adults both in person in Brighton and online, allowing you to choose the setting that feels most comfortable and accessible for you. I am a humanistic counsellor with a trauma-informed approach.
At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy isn't about fixing people—it's about creating the conditions where healing, growth and self-understanding can naturally emerge.
I see therapy as a collaborative process. Together, we'll explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at a pace that feels right for you. I won't tell you who you should be or what you should do. Instead, I'll support you in becoming more aware of yourself, helping you understand patterns that may no longer serve you and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Sessions last 50 minutes, usually taking place on a weekly basis, and cost £85 per session.
I also provide a small number of spaces for those on low income. Please contact me to enquire about availability.
If you want to cancel a session I require 7 days notice otherwise you will still need to pay for the session.
I accept cash or bank transfer and payment must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
I offer face-to-face counselling sessions in Brighton, as well as secure online therapy for adults across the UK.
Further details about the location of face-to-face sessions will be provided when arranging your appointment.
You pour so much energy into keeping the music going — but who holds space for you?
Late nights, travelling, being “on” when everyone else is celebrating, managing energy and expectations, navigating friendships, substances, and the emotional peaks and crashes that come with this life. It can be lonely at the top, exhausting behind the decks, or disorienting when the festival lights go down.
This isn’t about changing who you are — it’s about giving you the support to thrive in your world.
I’m a humanistic therapist with roots in Ibiza and Brighton. I’ve lived this life — I know how it feels. I offer confidential, non‑judgemental online sessions for DJs & Producers, Ravers & Festival‑Goers, Club & Festival Staff and Nightlife Creatives.

Performance pressure, creative block, touring stress, imposter syndrome, work–life balance.
Emotional highs & lows, relationships with substances, belonging, post‑event blues.
Burnout, boundary setting, irregular schedules, community care fatigue.
Identity, transitions, grief, relationships, holding it all together for everyone else.
Free 15‑min introductory call — no commitment, just seeing if we click
“The music never stops — but you don’t have to carry it all alone.”
